Tell us a little about your business.

Invenergy drives innovation in energy. Invenergy and its affiliated companies develop, own, and operate large-scale renewable and other energy generation and storage facilities in the Americas, Europe and Asia. As a U.S.-based company, Invenergy invests $400 million annually in the home communities where its projects are located. Invenergy has successfully developed over 200 projects, including wind, solar, transmission infrastructure, green hydrogen, natural gas power generation and advanced energy storage projects.

What is one thing that makes your business great?

Invenergy has a strong commitment to the home communities where our employees and our projects are located. While our energy facilities provide jobs, tax revenues, landowner payments and other sources of local economic development – we are also dedicated to volunteering, donating to local organizations, and supporting events that benefit these communities. We are proud of our investment in Oklahoma and the relationships we continue to build in this great state.

Why is Guthrie a great community to be a part of?

Guthrie has such a unique place in our overall state history. The city has always preserved that history and charm while still driving economic prosperity for its citizens and partnering with businesses to ensure the success of the community overall.

Why is your company a part of the Chamber? 

The Chamber is a group of committed community leaders who support one another and have a focus on improving the town in which they live and work, and these are our kind of people!

What is the last thing that made you smile? 

Every time I come to the Guthrie Chamber office, the antique shops along the street make me smile! I am learning to schedule extra time for shopping when I visit the Chamber office.
