Wheelhouse Productions
Tell us a little about your business.
I have been an independent musician since about 2007. Dana has done event management and promotion for a long time as well. Dana and I have always been passionate about creating music, having fun, and making memories. In 2017 we decided to refine all of our knowledge and experience in the entertainment industry and brand it as ‘ Wheelhouse Productions ‘.
Since then we’ve organized entertainment for hundreds of weddings, parties, concerts, and corporate events. We’ve been able to meet some very talented performers and AV professionals and connect them with opportunities to achieve the specific vision that our clients have for their events.
Why did you decide to bring your business to Guthrie?
I moved to Guthrie in 2009 when I met my wife Dana Mosman. After we got married our mutual love for music and our combined network of industry professionals developed into Wheelhouse Productions. We have found that Guthrie is not only a great place to raise a family but we have also found a tremendous amount of support for what we do
How long has your business been in operation?
What makes your business stand out from other businesses that offer similar services or products?
It’s pretty easy to find someone who can plug in a laptop to a speaker and DJ a wedding. And just about everyone knows someone who can strum a few chords on a guitar. Wheelhouse offers something different than just the average entertainer. For years we have established a large network of professional bands, musicians, DJs, and audio/visual specialists. When you hire a Wheelhouse Pro you get so much more than entertainment. You get tried and tested event preparation and management, music curation to accommodate the specific vision for your event, and most importantly you get ‘peace of mind’ in knowing that your special event is in the hands of seasoned professionals.
How do you like to spend your days off?
When Dana and I aren’t having living room dance parties with the kids, we’re usually digging around in the yard, skateboarding or playing basketball at the park, or making a mess with paint while we watch Bob Ross videos. Also, napping if the kids allow it.
