Tell us about your business.

Title insurance has been a core of our business since opening our first office in Galveston, TX. Since then, we’ve refined the process to make protecting property ownership a breeze, and now serve customers across the globe. Our work with home buyers and sellers; real estate agents and brokers; real estate lenders; builders and developers; commercial property owners, and investors speaks for itself.

Title insurance offers financial protection against title problems that might not be found in the public records, are inadvertently missed in the title search process or that may arise from fraud or forgery. This necessary service not only provides peace of mind to property owners but ensures real estate lenders are investing in a safe transaction.

What brought your business to Guthrie?

We are opening a Stewart Title in Guthrie, OK mid-summer of 2025 and would like to get to know the community of Guthrie and the surrounding areas. We want to expand our relationships to this community and help with real estate and escrow needs.

How long has your business been in operation?

We have been in business for over 130 years.

Tell us a little about the background of your business.

At Stewart Title of Oklahoma, our business background is rooted in providing trusted title insurance and real estate settlement services. Specifically in Oklahoma, we focus on supporting residential and commercial real estate transactions. We work with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, builders, and attorneys to ensure that property titles are clear, protected, and smoothly transferred during sales or refinancing. Our company is built on a strong DNA with local expertise, strong partnerships and integrity.

What makes your business stand out from other businesses offering similar services or products?

We have a long standing presence in the Oklahoma market with 10 offices and our company was founded in 1893. We give personalized service and clients aren’t just transactions; they’re relationships. We invest heavily in digital tools such as e-closings, secure portals and remote online notarization. That gives the customer faster, safer, and more flexible closings compared to other competitors. We educate our clients with multiple Continuing Education courses, lunch and learns, and training opportunities. Our cybersecurity protocols and compliance protect sensitive information. We have also partnered with the Beverly Carter foundation to ensure the safety of our real estate professionals.

How do you like to spend your days off?

Spending time with my sweet family, friends, my dog, exercising, going to concerts, going to the lake, traveling, and drinking lots of coffee! Just being outside!
