Remedy Health is physician group specializing in Direct Primary Care. In 2018 with the goal of providing affordable, accessible, and quality health care for individuals, families, employer groups, and municipalities, Dr. Sudduth started Remedy Health using the Direct Primary Care model. Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a subscription-based health care model where for one flat monthly membership fee (a fraction of the cost of a traditional health care policy), individuals can receive unlimited, unfettered access to their primary care doctor. Through Remedy’s DPC model there are no co-pays at the time of service, no deductibles that have to be met, and no co-insurance to have to worry about. Our service is 100% primary care (non-emergency care). Remedy has grown to a total of 8 locations. 5 in Tulsa and the surrounding areas, 2 in Edmond, and 1 in Ft. Smith Arkansas. We run the health care program for 6 municipalities across the state of Oklahoma and work with a number of employer groups as well.

Chris Sudduth, MD MPH, is a 4th generation Oklahoman from the small town of Savanna. Following graduation from Oklahoma Baptist University with honors, he earned a Master of Public Health degree in Health Administration & Policy from the University of Oklahoma College of Public Health in Oklahoma City, and then a Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine in Tulsa. Dr. Sudduth practiced medicine for several years as a hospitalist physician before launching Remedy Health in 2018.
Dr. Sudduth finds great joy in deeply and meaningfully caring for every one of his patients at Remedy Health. He enjoys spending time getting to know each patient, helping them identify health needs and goals, and then partnering with them to achieve their goals. He also serves as CEO of Remedy Health. This enables him to focus on fulfilling the Remedy Health mission of rescuing patients and other physicians from the broken and oftentimes harmful healthcare system. He envisions all Oklahomans and beyond eventually enjoying access to this “white-glove” level of primary care.
What makes your business stand out from other businesses offering similar services or products?
We offer our patients 24/7/365 unlimited access to their Remedy Health primary care physician. We guarantee same day or next day appointments. We eliminate all costs associated with co-pays, deductibles, or co-insurance. Our physicians are highly trained from pediatrics to geriatrics. We focus on quality medicine by establishing Dr./Patient relationships. Our DPC model allow our patients to control their own health care. With guidance from our physicians our patients decide what they feel is best for them, taking the control of their individual health care away from the health insurance and pharmaceutical companies. We block off 45 minutes for each appointment so we can spend time getting to know our patients allowing them to ask questions about their health, while developing individual programs to help each patient live a happier and healthier life.
How do you like to spend your days off?
When not at work, Dr. Sudduth enjoys spending time with his lovely wife Beka and their four boys and two girls who keep them busy playing sports, reading, swimming, building LEGO’s, watching Dude Perfect, and creating art and music together.
