Tell us about your business. 

I’m a local artist/maker and Guthrie resident.
I offer a variety of hand-painted gift items such as earrings, pictures, suncatchers, carcharms, puzzles & much more!
Custom Orders are always welcome!

What brought your business to Guthrie?

I’ve been a resident of Guthrie since 2017, after moving back from the UK.  I fell in love with Guthrie & it’s residents and felt like I finally was “home”.

How long has your business been in operation?

1 1/2 years, as The Painted Mushroom at The Shoppes, for 7 months.

Tell us about the background of your business.

I picked up painting again about 6 years ago after gifting my daughter a watercolor set for Christmas.  A brush in hand ignited a fire within and I’ve not stopped since.  If it wasn’t for a friend, Haley W, who started my first Etsy shop and told me to get on there, my stuff would sell….I probably wouldn’t have had the courage to put myself out there.  I do credit my humble beginnings to her.  I credit my love of creativity to my mama.

What makes your business stand out from other businesses offering similar services or products? 

Everything in my shop has been hand-painted by myself.  I have a whimsical style that is unique and seems to resonate with my customers. 

How do you like to spend your days off?
