Tell us a little about your business.

Our family moved from Dallas, Texas to Guthrie in March 2023 to be closer to our son’s school.  After more than three decades of chiropractic family practice in Texas, I find myself starting over in downtown Guthrie helping families (adults, infants and children) discover how the chiropractic lifestyle can provide a solid foundation for health and wellness.

What is one thing that makes your business great?

Norman Family Chiropractic started in 1992.

Why is Guthrie a great community to be a part of?

Our purpose is not merely on symptomatically treating pain and disease, but on igniting the innate potential that we all have inside of us to heal. The central nervous system is our life-line and chiropractic adjustments stimulate the master control system of our body unlike anything else. So, whether newborns, elderly, pregnant, baby boomers, teenagers or anyone else seeking to achieve dynamic health, we are blessed to witness miracles happen in the lives of patients each and every day.

Why is your company a part of the Chamber? 

We practice a unique form of chiropractic that focuses on the nervous system called Torque Release Technique. TRT differs from many of the other chiropractic techniques in that it focuses a lot of attention to the strategic and vital connection points between the spinal cord and the spinal column. Because these connections are not limited to just the areas of pain and symptoms, the healing experience is typically deeper in all areas of body, mind and emotions. For many, it has led to profound neurological changes that benefit all areas, no matter what symptom or level of health they are currently experiencing.

What is the last thing that made you smile? 

Our move to Guthrie included the added adventure of our purchase of a small farm Our days off are used to quickly outgrow our “big-city ways” and get the farm into shape!
