May 2021 – Independent Medicare Advisor-Stephanie Woody

Tell us about your business.

My name is Stephenie Woody and I am a Medicare Advisor. I am licensed with every LOCAL carrier in Oklahoma. Medicare can be confusing! I help guide seniors in making unbiased decisions when it comes to their healthcare needs. I live in Cashion and am part of Logan County.

What is one thing that makes your business great?

I specialize in reaching small towns. I offer a FREE service working in the senior market educating people turning 65, helping seniors qualify for extra help, and helping seniors get on the right supplement, advantage plan, or drug plan that fits best for their needs and budget.

Why is Guthrie a great community to be a part of?

Guthrie has a small town feel with access to the convenience of a big city.

Why is your company a part of the Chamber?

The chamber has a great reputation and does a lot of great things for the community. My goal is to offer (educational) turning 65 events and meet new people within the community that were unaware that my services were available.

What is the last thing that made you smile?

I had the pleasure of meeting up with a new prospect. She was very confused and frustrated about her Medicare. I was able to guide her and help her get the extra help she needed from the state. It brought me great joy and made me smile because I was able educate and inform her with the proper care she needed.

"I joined the Chamber to help bridge the gap between the business community, the City of Guthrie, organizations, our schools and neighbors because we are all invested. When we work together with the help of the Chamber, we thrive as a community. "

Menecca Gibbs, Owner of Cleveland & Co. Mercantile

"The Guthrie Chamber of Commerce is a great partner in the community. As an active Church, it is important to us to be connected to businesses and other organizations that value relationship within the community. The Chamber goes above and beyond to make sure everyone stays connected with weekly events and fun activities. We love being a part of the Chamber!"

Ronnie Fields, First Christian Church

"The Guthrie News Leader regularly partners with the chamber as our goals are the same: connect businesses to the community. We not only enjoy attending the events the chamber presents, but also co-sponsoring events together. We’ve met new customers, contacts and lifelong friends through the chamber and we consider them part of our team."
