Tell us about your business.

We are the Logan County Health Department, we were established in the 1940s to help combat spread of disease, and to provide general health services to the people of Logan County.

What is one thing that makes your business great?

What makes us great is that we provide for everyone, regardless of financial status, age, gender, or race. We have services from immunization to family planning, well child visits, and community outreach that allows anyone in Logan county to have access to services. We take insurance and have grants to cover costs for those who do not have insurance. Lastly, we have an incredibly dedicated staff that goes above and beyond for all their clients, and their community.

Why is Guthrie a great community to be a part of?

Guthrie is great to be a part of because the people of Guthrie care. There are tons of businesses, programs and individuals working hard every day to make Guthrie a better place and have already done so much to make Guthrie a wonderful place to live!

Why is your company a part of the Chamber?

We decided to become a part of the Chamber to join the people of this community. We are inspired by all the amazing and hardworking people here that go above and beyond for their town, and we wanted to be a part of that to better serve our community and be more available to the needs in the area, as well as extend our reach to connect people here to the services we provide.

What is the last thing that made you smile?

Listening to someone tell our staff how grateful they were to get their vaccine was so kind! IT was nice to hear some positive in such a stressful time!
