I specialize in personalized travel planning, whether it’s an adventure vacation, a relaxing beach getaway, quality family time or a cruise. I handle all the logistics, from flights and accommodations to activities and dining options, to create an itinerary that reflects the client’s personality, passions, and preferences. My top priority is to make it a smooth and worry-free travel experience by streamlining the planning process, saving them valuable time, money, and hassle so they can focus on making unforgettable memories.
What brought your business to Guthrie?
I have lived and raised my family in Guthrie since 1999. As a long-time Guthrie resident, I saw the need and opportunity here for my services so upon becoming an empty nester, it enabled me the time to pour my heart into following my dream of helping others travel and see this great big world.
How long has your business been in operation?
I opened my travel services to the public in late 2018.
Tell us a little about the background of your business.
I had been wanting to open my own travel agency for years but just had to wait for the right time because to me, traveling is not just taking a trip…I love to encourage and inspire people to travel, to explore the world and see something different from where they live, to embrace nature and Gods amazing creations, to learn from and experience other cultures, to make memories with family and friends, to step out of comfort zones and embark on new adventures and to set aside time to reset, reflect and rejuvenate.
I absolutely adore being a part of the travel planning journey and get so much joy in hearing about everyone’s adventures, seeing faces light up and meeting new people along the way. It truly means the world to me to be a part of these travel experiences.
What makes your business stand out from other businesses offering similar services or products?
My passion and excitement for travel! I have traveled extensively and I am constantly training, researching and exploring to stay up to date on destinations and all travel aspects in order to offer advice, insider tips, and recommendations based on firsthand experience. Over the years I have built relationships and industry connections with resorts, suppliers, and tour operators worldwide. These connections enable me to enhance the overall value of the travel experience by offering exclusive deals and insider knowledge that you might not get elsewhere.
Also, although anyone can book a hotel or flight online, having that “human touch” and personalized customer service can truly make a difference, especially when unexpected issues arise. I’m here to address questions, concerns, and special requests, providing support throughout the entire travel process—before, during, and after the trip.
How do you like to spend your days off?
Enjoying family time with my kids and grandkids. Traveling by boat or plane to any beach, anywhere or road tripping on the back of my husband’s motorcycle or in our camper.
