August 2020 – The Sandtrap Lounge

Tell us about your business.

We are a bar/lounge located at Cimarron National Golf Course. We hold a monthly golf scramble and all types of other events like Singo, Birthday Parties, Anniversary Parties, etc. We also provide all of the cold drinks for our golfers and golf tournaments!

What is one thing that makes your business great?

We have a great view and atmosphere! Perfect place for friends to gather for an after work drink or to catch up! We also are a non-smoking bar with beautiful scenery and a great patio!

Why is Guthrie a great community to be a part of?

I was born and raised in Guthrie. I enjoy seeing old friends around town and enjoy when they drop in to say hi. Guthrie is great because of the friendly atmosphere!

Why is your company a part of the Chamber?

We joined the Chamber so we could be more involved with the Guthrie community and to also help bring awareness of our business and services.

What is the last thing that made you smile?

I find myself smiling a lot about the weather we’ve had this summer! Since we are on a golf course, it is nice to see we still have green grass, even in August! (It might still be too hot to be outside, but you can always come enjoy the a/c with us!)

"I love being an investor in the Guthrie Chamber of Commerce. It's great to be a part of the business community in Logan County. They provide us with a lot of marketing and sponsorship opportunities and our investment is well worth it every year!"

Blake Wimsey, Foundation Insurance & Risk Management

"The Guthrie Chamber of Commerce is a great partner in the community. As an active Church, it is important to us to be connected to businesses and other organizations that value relationship within the community. The Chamber goes above and beyond to make sure everyone stays connected with weekly events and fun activities. We love being a part of the Chamber!"

Ronnie Fields, First Christian Church

"I love being a member of the Guthrie Chamber of Commerce because it connects me with a vibrant community of local business owners and leaders. It’s empowering to collaborate, support each other, and make a real difference in Guthrie. The Chamber truly fosters a sense of community that strengthens all of our businesses."

Sarah Phillips, Mosquito/Pest Authority

"When moving to Guthrie and starting a new business, I knew I needed to find a way to get familiar with the community and businesses. Joining the Guthrie chamber of commerce was the best decision for me. I was able to meet customers, network with business owners, and find ways to volunteer and give back to the community. I absolutely love being a part of the chamber, and watching the town of Guthrie grow!"
